If your goal is to get people to talk to each other and try to make new friends, this is a perfect game for that. This game should engage everyone to have a conversation. This game is similar to Don’t Say a Keyword but has a different take on how to engage everyone to participate.
To play this game, you will need a paper clip, a safety pin, a brooch, or a necklace. Pick a first person at random and pin the item on them in a visible place. The goal of the game is for each baby shower attendee to try to steal the item from one another.
Come up with a keyword (like baby or pacifier) that everyone participating in a game should avoid saying. While at the same time trying to get others to say it.
When someone says the keyword, the first person to notice gets to take away the item. And it continues until the end of the baby shower.
The last person that has the item, wins!
